     Sir Pyers Mostyn, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1655.¹ He was the son of Sir Edward Mostyn, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Downes.¹ He married Frances Selby, daughter of Sir George Selby, 1st Bt. and Hon. Mary Molyneux.¹ He died on 15 November 1720.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Mostyn, of Talacre, co. Flint [E., 1670] on 3 November 1706.¹

     Frances Selby is the daughter of Sir George Selby, 1st Bt. and Hon. Mary Molyneux.¹ She married Sir Pyers Mostyn, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Edward Mostyn, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Downes.¹
     Her married name became Mostyn.¹

     Sir George Selby, 1st Bt. is the son of Sir William Selby. He married Hon. Mary Molyneux, daughter of Richard Molyneux, 1st Viscount Molyneux and Mary Caryll.¹
     He was created 1st Baronet Selby.

     Hon. Mary Molyneux was the daughter of Richard Molyneux, 1st Viscount Molyneux and Mary Caryll.^1,2 She married, firstly, Sir George Selby, 1st Bt., son of Sir William Selby.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Edward Mostyn, 1st Bt., son of John Mostyn and Anne Fox.¹ She died circa 25 January 1697/98.¹ She was buried on 28 January 1697/98.¹
     Her married name became Selby.¹ Her married name became Mostyn.¹

     Sir Pyers Mostyn, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir Pyers Mostyn, 2nd Bt. and Frances Selby.¹ He died in 1735.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Mostyn, of Talacre, co. Flint [E., 1670] between 115 and November 1720.¹

     William Mostyn was the son of Piers Mostyn and Elen Griffith.¹ He married Anne Parry, daughter of Harry ap Thomas Parry, circa 1540.¹ He died in 1605.¹
     He lived in 1558 at Cornist, Wales.¹ He lived at Maes-glas, Holywell, Flintshire, Wales.¹ He acquired the houses and lands in the neighbour of Basingwerk Abbey through his wife.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Flintshire in 1563.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Flintshire in 1575.¹ He had four younger sons and five daughters.¹

     Edward Mostyn was born circa 1569.¹ He was the son of William Mostyn and Anne Parry.¹ He married Elizabeth Morgan, daughter of Edward Morgan, circa 1600.¹ He died after 1632.¹
     He lived at Talacre, Llanasa, Flintshire, Wales.¹ He lived at Basingwerk, Flintshire, Wales.¹ He had a younger son and three daughters.¹

     Hywel ap Ieuan Fychan is the son of Ieuan ‘Fychan’ ap Ieuan and Angharad ferch Hywel.¹ He married Margaret ferch Gruffudd, daughter of Gruffudd ap Rhys, circa 1437.¹
     He lived at Mostyn, Flintshire, Wales.¹ He lived at Tregarnedd, Wales.¹ He lived at Pen-gwern, Llangollen, Denbighshire, Wales.¹ He was living in 1464.¹
