     Mary Clare Kavanagh was the daughter of Major Arthur Thomas MacMorrough Kavanagh, The MacMorrough and Minna Alice Buxton.¹ She married Sir Ralph Harry Carr-Ellison, son of John Campbell Carr-Ellison and Hermione Daphne Indica Cradock, in 1951.² She died in 1996.²
     From 1951, her married name became Carr-Ellison.²

     Sir Ralph Harry Carr-Ellison was born on 8 December 1925 at Hedgeley, Alnwick, Northumberland, England.¹ He was the son of John Campbell Carr-Ellison and Hermione Daphne Indica Cradock.² He married, firstly, Mary Clare Kavanagh, daughter of Major Arthur Thomas MacMorrough Kavanagh, The MacMorrough and Minna Alice Buxton, in 1951.¹ He married, secondly, Gay Walsh in 1998.¹ He died on 26 August 2014 at age 88 at London, England.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1973.¹ He was a practising chairman of Tyne-Tees Television between 1974 and 1997.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Tyne and Wear between 1984 and 2000.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Northumberland.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1999.¹

     Margaret Hastings Ingham married Lt.-Col. Baron Eduard von Brockdorff.¹ She died on 14 September 2014 at Malta.¹
