     Paul Myners, Baron Myners was born on 1 April 1948.2 He married, firstly, Evelyn Roylange Theresa Stanford-Smith, daughter of Oliver Charles Howard Stanford-Smith and Sybil Mary Rolt, in 1972.3 He and Evelyn Roylange Theresa Stanford-Smith were divorced in 1993.3 He married, secondly, Alison Macleod in 1995.1 He and Alison Macleod were divorced in 2020.2 He died on 16 January 2022 at age 73.2
     He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1 He was chairman of the Guardian Media Group between 2000 and 2008.2 He was Financial Services Secretary to the Treasury between 2008 and 2010.2 He was created Baron Myners, of Truro in the County of Cornwall [U.K. Life Peer] on 16 October 2008.
