     Wolstan John Whitaker was born on 8 November 1935.¹ He was the son of Paul Rycaut de Shordiche Shordiche-Churchward and Claire Isabel Whitaker.¹ He married June Rosemary Culverhouse, daughter of Stanley William Culverhouse, on 3 September 1961.¹ He died on 16 December 2010 at age 75.²
     He was given the name of Wolstan John Churchward at birth.¹ He was educated at Tabley House School, Knutsford, Cheshire, England^G.¹ In 1954 his name was legally changed to Wolstan John Whitaker by Deed Poll.¹

     June Rosemary Culverhouse is the daughter of Stanley William Culverhouse.¹ She married Wolstan John Whitaker, son of Paul Rycaut de Shordiche Shordiche-Churchward and Claire Isabel Whitaker, on 3 September 1961.¹
