     Elizabeth Carey is the daughter of Colonel Ferdinand Carey and Philippa Throckmorton.¹ She married, firstly, Francis Staunton.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Sir Thomas Fortescue, son of Sir Faithful Fortescue and Hon. Anne Moore.¹
     Her married name became Staunton.¹ Her married name became Fortescue.¹

     Philippa Staunton was born in 1640.¹ She was the daughter of Francis Staunton and Elizabeth Carey.¹ She married Roelof van Arkel Heer van Broekhuizen on 21 April 1660.¹ She died on 5 August 1723 at Utrecht, The Netherlands.¹

     Carel Justis van Arkel Heer van Burgst was born on 23 July 1688 at Doorn, The Netherlands.¹ He was the son of Roelof van Arkel Heer van Broekhuizen and Philippa Staunton.¹ He married Constantia Isabell Smissaert on 20 December 1711 at Rhenen, The Netherlands.¹ He died on 28 December 1767 at age 79 at Doorn, The Netherlands.¹

     Constantia Isabell Smissaert was born on 5 December 1682 at The Hague, The Netherlands.¹ She married Carel Justis van Arkel Heer van Burgst, son of Roelof van Arkel Heer van Broekhuizen and Philippa Staunton, on 20 December 1711 at Rhenen, The Netherlands.¹ She died in 1731 at Doorn, The Netherlands.¹

     Elizabeth Chambré is the daughter of Francis Chambré.¹ She married Reverend Shirley Cotes, son of John Cotes and Lady Dorothy Shirley.¹
     Her married name became Cotes.¹

     Lucy Cotes is the daughter of John Cotes and Hon. Lucy Courtenay.¹

     Charlotte Cotes is the daughter of John Cotes and Hon. Lucy Courtenay.¹
