     Margaret Annie Snead is the daughter of Frederick Victor Snead.2 She married John Clayton Wise, 2nd Baron Wise, son of Frederick Wise, 1st Baron Wise and Kate Elizabeth Sturgeon, in 1946.1 She and John Clayton Wise, 2nd Baron Wise were divorced in 1986.1
     From 1946, her married name became Wise.1 After her marriage, Margaret Annie Snead was styled as Baroness Wise on 20 November 1968.

     John Clayton Wise, 2nd Baron Wise was born on 6 June 1923 at Somerton, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was the son of Frederick Wise, 1st Baron Wise and Kate Elizabeth Sturgeon.1,2 He married, firstly, Margaret Annie Snead, daughter of Frederick Victor Snead, in 1946.1 He and Margaret Annie Snead were divorced in 1986.1 He married, secondly, Janice Harman, daughter of Albert John Harman, in 1993.3 He and Janice Harman were divorced in 1998.3 He died on 29 October 2012 at age 89.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Wise, of King’s Lyon, co. Norfolk [U.K., 1951] on 20 November 1968.2
