On 13 January 1685 he had his grandfather’s lands restored to him by Letters Patent, described as ‘towne and lands of Killedmond and Ballygambon’, ‘a place called Knockburdon’ and ‘a castleight gardens and an orchard in the town of ffethard’ besides a number of small holdings.1 His last will was dated 5 September 1708.1
