     From 12 April 1928, her married name became Thicknesse.

     Philip John Lyon Thicknes was born on 11 April 1938.¹ He was the son of Brigadier Henry John Anthony Thicknesse and Joyce Margaret Tupman.² He married Jane Bagshaw, daughter of Commander Nigel Edward Bagshaw and Elizabeth James, on 3 March 1962.¹ He died on 16 January 2024 at age 85.³
