     Raymond Edward Thicknesse was born on 17 October 1867.¹ He was the son of Rt. Rev. Francis Henry Thicknesse and Anne Thicknesse.² He married Helen Botterill, daughter of Samuel Botterill, on 3 January 1887.¹ He died on 21 November 1901 at age 34.¹

     Helen Botterill is the daughter of Samuel Botterill.² She married Raymond Edward Thicknesse, son of Rt. Rev. Francis Henry Thicknesse and Anne Thicknesse, on 3 January 1887.¹
     Canada.¹ She lived Cookshire.¹ Her married name became Thicknesse.

     Raymond Samuel Thicknesse was born on 4 June 1890.¹ He was the son of Raymond Edward Thicknesse and Helen Botterill.²
     Served in WW I.¹ He was 2nd Lieutenant Lancashire Fusiliers.¹ On 11 October 1917 killed in action .¹

     Dorothy Thicknesse was born in May 1893.¹ She was the daughter of Raymond Edward Thicknesse and Helen Botterill.² She died on 18 May 1950..¹

     John Audley Thicknesse was born on 8 November 1869.¹ He was the son of Rt. Rev. Francis Henry Thicknesse and Anne Thicknesse.² He married Phyllis Margaret Woodcock, daughter of Henry Woodcock, on 28 September 1897.¹
     Served in WW I.¹ He was educated Charterhouse.¹ And was killed in action.¹ He was Lieutenant-Colonel Somerset L.I.¹

     Phyllis Margaret Woodcock is the daughter of Henry Woodcock.² She married John Audley Thicknesse, son of Rt. Rev. Francis Henry Thicknesse and Anne Thicknesse, on 28 September 1897.¹
     Haywards Heath.¹ Sussex.¹ Her married name became Thicknesse. She lived Bolnore.¹ On 1 July 1916 .¹ In 1944 ).¹

     Brigadier Henry John Anthony Thicknesse was born on 31 December 1899.¹ He was the son of John Audley Thicknesse and Phyllis Margaret Woodcock.² He married Joyce Margaret Tupman, daughter of Colonel John Arthur Tupman and Margaret Helen Powley, on 12 April 1928.¹ He died on 23 October 1944 at age 44 at The Netherlands, killed in action.³
     He was educated at Brighton College, Brighton, Sussex, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, London, England.¹ He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹
