     Hon. Ralph Granville Montagu-Stuart-Wortley was born on 4 July 1864.1 He was the son of Hon. Francis Dudley Montagu-Stuart-Wortley and Maria Elizabeth Martin.1 He married Virginia Maria Schley, daughter of Admiral Winfield Scott Schley, on 22 January 1891.1 He died on 1 March 1927 at age 62.1
     On 25 April 1900 he was granted the rank of a baron’s younger son.1
