     Colonel Henry Morris Pryce-Jones was born on 17 February 1878. He was the son of Sir Pryce Pryce-Jones and Eleanor Morris.¹ He married Marion Vere Dawnay, daughter of Lt.-Col. Hon. Lewis Rayan Dawnay and Lady Victoria Alexandrina Elizabeth Grey, on 5 August 1905.¹ He died on 5 November 1952 at age 74.¹
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Coldstream Guards.¹

     Sir Pryce Pryce-Jones was born on 16 October 1834. He married Eleanor Morris, daughter of Edward Rowley Morris, on 6 April 1859. He died on 11 January 1920 at age 85.

     Eleanor Morris was the daughter of Edward Rowley Morris. She married Sir Pryce Pryce-Jones on 6 April 1859. She died on 2 November 1914.

     Henry Edward Hugh Pelham-Clinton-Hope, 9th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne was born on 8 April 1907.³ He was the son of Henry Francis Hope Pelham-Clinton-Hope, 8th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne and Olive Muriel Thompson.³ He married, firstly, Jean Banks, daughter of David Banks, on 23 March 1931.³ He married, secondly, Lady Mary Diana Montagu-Stuart-Wortley, daughter of Archibald Ralph Montagu-Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie, 3rd Earl of Wharncliffe and Lady Maud Lillian Elfreda Mary Wentworth-Fitzwilliam, on 30 November 1946.¹ He and Lady Mary Diana Montagu-Stuart-Wortley were divorced in 1959.¹ He married, thirdly, Sally Ann Wemyss Anstice, daughter of Brigadier John Henry Anstice and Sydney Williamson, on 23 October 1959.³ He and Jean Banks were divorced in 1940.³ He died on 4 November 1988 at age 81.⁴
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.³ He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Nottinghamshire between 1933 and 1948.³ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Nottinghasmhire between 1937 and 1948.³ He was commander of the 616 Royal Air Force Squadron between 1938 and 1939.³ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Auxiliary Wing-Commander in the Royal Auxiliary Aif Force.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne on 20 April 1941. He succeeded as the 16th Earl of Lincoln [E., 1572] on 20 April 1941.³ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1945.³

     Lady Mary Diana Montagu-Stuart-Wortley was born on 2 June 1920.⁴ She was the daughter of Archibald Ralph Montagu-Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie, 3rd Earl of Wharncliffe and Lady Maud Lillian Elfreda Mary Wentworth-Fitzwilliam.^1,4 She married Henry Edward Hugh Pelham-Clinton-Hope, 9th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne, son of Henry Francis Hope Pelham-Clinton-Hope, 8th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne and Olive Muriel Thompson, on 30 November 1946.¹ She and Henry Edward Hugh Pelham-Clinton-Hope, 9th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne were divorced in 1959.¹ She died on 19 September 1997 at age 77.¹
     Lady Mary Diana Montagu-Stuart-Wortley usually went by her middle name of Diana.¹ She was with the MTC during the Second World War.⁴ From 30 November 1946, her married name became Pelham-Clinton-Hope. After her marriage, Lady Mary Diana Montagu-Stuart-Wortley was styled as Duchess of Newcastle-under-Lyne on 30 November 1946.

     Jean Banks was the daughter of David Banks.¹ She married, secondly, Henry Edward Hugh Pelham-Clinton-Hope, 9th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne, son of Henry Francis Hope Pelham-Clinton-Hope, 8th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne and Olive Muriel Thompson, on 23 March 1931.² She and Henry Edward Hugh Pelham-Clinton-Hope, 9th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne were divorced in 1940.² She died on 2 September 1968.²
     Her married name became Gimbernat.² Her married name became Pelham-Clinton-Hope.

     Archibald Ralph Montagu-Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie, 3rd Earl of Wharncliffe was born on 17 April 1892.¹ He was the son of Francis John Montagu-Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie, 2nd Earl of Wharncliff and Ellen Gallwey.¹ He married Lady Maud Lillian Elfreda Mary Wentworth-Fitzwilliam, daughter of William Charles de Meuron FitzWilliam, 7th Earl Fitzwilliam and Lady Maud Frederica Elizabeth Dundas, on 24 March 1918.¹ He died on 16 May 1953 at age 61.¹
