     He was educated at Royal High School, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.² He was educated in 1743 at University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.² He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.) in 1758.² He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.) in 1761.² He was architect of the King’s Works between 1761 and 1769.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kinross between 1768 and 1774.² He was a neoclassical architect, interior designer and furniture designer.¹

     James Adam was born on 21 July 1732 at Linktown of Abbotshall, Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland.² He was the son of William Adam of Blair Adam and Mary Robertson.¹ He died on 20 October 1794 at age 62.¹
     He was educated at Dalkeith Grammar School, Dalkeith, Midlothian, Scotland.² He was Master Mason to the Board of Ordnance in North Britain in 1748.² He was an architect and furniture designer.¹

     Heather Anne Ingram was born on 8 June 1948.¹ She is the daughter of Major William Alastair Ingram and Daphne Anne van Wart.² She married Michael Paget Bowyer, son of Paget Bowyer, on 18 October 1969.¹
     From 18 October 1969, her married name became Bowyer. She lived in 2003 at Lockerley Water House, Lockerley, Hampshire, England.¹

     Paget Bowyer lived at Peake House, Corfe Castle, Dorset, England.¹
