Sir William Young, 2nd Bt.1 
Sir William Young, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1750.1 He was the son of Sir William Young, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Taylor.3 He married, firstly, Sarah Lawrence, daughter of Charles Lawrence, on 12 August 1777.1 He married, secondly, Barbara Talbot, daughter of Colonel Richard Talbot and Margaret O’Reilly, Baroness Talbot of Malahide, on 21 April 1793.3 He died on 10 January 1815.1
He was educated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for St. Mawes between 1784 and 1806.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Young, of Dominica, West Indies [G.B., 1769] on 8 April 1788.1 Between 1790 and 1807 he rented Hartwell House, Aylesbury from Sir George Lee, 6th Baronet.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)1 He sold Delaford.1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Buckingham from 1806 to 1807.1 He held the office of Governor of Tobago between 1807 and 1815.1
