     Harry George Best was born on 14 November 1904.¹ He was the son of Captain William Best and Constance Adela Wingfield.² He died on 4 June 1975 at age 70.¹
     He was educated at Clare College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Denbighshire in 1946.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Denbighshire in 1956.¹ He was registered as a Member, Institute of Electrical Engineering (M.I.E.E.)¹

     Frank Charles Best was born on 19 January 1906.¹ He was the son of Captain William Best and Constance Adela Wingfield.² He died on 19 December 1987 at age 81.¹
     He was educated at Christ’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He was Forestry Commission Conservator for North Wales between 1947 and 1966.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1964.¹

     John William Best was born on 6 August 1912.¹ He was the son of Captain William Best and Constance Adela Wingfield.² He married, firstly, Mary Constance Otter, daughter of Robert Charles Otter and Mary Eleanora Chetwynd, on 6 August 1938.¹ He and Mary Constance Otter were divorced in 1959.¹ He married, secondly, Dr. Mary Elisabeth Bunting, daughter of Dr. Edward Lanceot Bunting, on 19 May 1959. He died on 22 April 2000 at age 87.³
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he became at POW at Colditz (from which he tried to escape and was involved in building a glider.)³ He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in 1939 in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1946.¹

     James Stafford Percy Roberts is the son of Stafford William Henry Roberts.¹ He married Alice Catharine Otter, daughter of Robert Charles Otter and Mary Eleanora Chetwynd, in 1945.¹
     He lived at Natal, South Africa.¹

     Mary Constance Otter was born in 1918.² She was the daughter of Robert Charles Otter and Mary Eleanora Chetwynd.^3,2 She married John William Best, son of Captain William Best and Constance Adela Wingfield, on 6 August 1938.¹ She and John William Best were divorced in 1959.¹ She died on 25 September 2012.⁴
     From 6 August 1938, her married name became Best. She lived at Uley, Gloucestershire, England.²

     Robert John Best was born on 25 July 1946.¹ He is the son of John William Best and Mary Constance Otter.² He married Juliet Owen, daughter of Peter John Owen, in 1976.¹
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.¹ He lived in 2003 at Plas Yn Vivod, Llangollen, Denbighshire, Wales.¹

     Peter John Owen lived at Mixbury, Northamptonshire, England.¹

     Juliet Owen is the daughter of Peter John Owen.² She married Robert John Best, son of John William Best and Mary Constance Otter, in 1976.¹
     From 1976, her married name became Best.

     William Best was born in 1981.¹ He is the son of Robert John Best and Juliet Owen.² He married Alice Melinda Taylor, daughter of Nicholas Ronald Taylor and Hon. Melinda Charlotte Brooke.³
