     Augusta Lees was the daughter of Major Henry Lees and Eliza Maria McKay.² She married Matthew Charles Brodie MacAlister, 3rd of Genbarr and Cour, son of Keith MacAlister, 2nd of Glenbarr and Cour and Mary Agatha Campbell, on 11 August 1869.² She died in 1898.¹
     From 11 August 1869, her married name became MacAlister.²

     Ranald MacDonald Brodie MacAlister of Glenbarr was born in 1903.¹ He was the son of Matthew Charles Brodie MacAlister, 3rd of Genbarr and Cour and Edith Margaret Dudgeon.² He married Hilda Mary Best, daughter of Captain William Best and Constance Adela Wingfield, on 15 June 1935.² He died in 1980.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He lived at Glenbarr, Argyllshire, Scotland.¹

     Captain William Best was born on 24 June 1874.² He is the son of Captain Hon. John Charles Best and Mary Wagstaff.² He married Constance Adela Wingfield, daughter of Colonel Charles Wingfield, on 9 July 1903.² He died on 18 April 1950 at age 75.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.² He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Welch Fusiliers.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Denbighshire.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Denbighshire.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Denbighshire in 1928.² He lived at Plâs yn Vivod, Llangollen, Wales.¹

     Hilda Mary Best was born on 14 July 1909.² She was the daughter of Captain William Best and Constance Adela Wingfield.² She married Ranald MacDonald Brodie MacAlister of Glenbarr, son of Matthew Charles Brodie MacAlister, 3rd of Genbarr and Cour and Edith Margaret Dudgeon, on 15 June 1935.² She died on 18 March 1995 at age 85.²
     From 15 June 1935, her married name became MacAlister.

     Angus Charles MacAlister of Glenbarr was born on 27 March 1937.² He is the son of Ranald MacDonald Brodie MacAlister of Glenbarr and Hilda Mary Best.² He married, firstly, Gustava Liebing, daughter of Ulrich Liebing, on 20 April 1963.² He and Gustava Liebing were divorced in 1981.¹ He married, secondly, Jeanne Cummings Barclay-Allardice, daughter of Clinton Barclay-Allardice, in 1986.¹
     He was educated at Gordonstoun School, Elgin, Morayshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.) (Scotland.)² He lived in 2003 at Glenbarr Abbey, Glenbarr by Tarbert, Argyllshire, Scotland.¹

     Ulrich Liebing lived at Eckenforde, Germany.¹

     Gustava Liebing is the daughter of Ulrich Liebing.² She married Angus Charles MacAlister of Glenbarr, son of Ranald MacDonald Brodie MacAlister of Glenbarr and Hilda Mary Best, on 20 April 1963.² She and Angus Charles MacAlister of Glenbarr were divorced in 1981.¹
     From 20 April 1963, her married name became MacAlister.²

     Duncan Joachim MacAlister of Glenbarr, younger was born on 30 January 1964.² He is the son of Angus Charles MacAlister of Glenbarr and Gustava Liebing.²

     Kai-Donald MacAlister was born in 1970.¹ He is the son of Angus Charles MacAlister of Glenbarr and Gustava Liebing.²

     Elke Maree MacAlister was born on 30 May 1966.² She is the daughter of Angus Charles MacAlister of Glenbarr and Gustava Liebing.²
