     He was educated at Oratory School, South Kensington, London, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Black Watch and Essex Regiment.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.¹

     Helen Beresford Cornelius is the daughter of Richard Cornelius.² She married, firstly, Captain Kenyon Goode.² She married, secondly, Captain Edward Joseph Algernon Petre, son of Rear-Admiral Walter Reginald Glynn Petre and Agnes Marie Cadic, on 15 September 1948.² She married, thirdly, Sir Ralph Henry Lawson, 4th Bt., son of Sir Henry Joseph Lawson, 3rd Bt. and Ursula Mary Howard, on 11 May 1970.²

Brian Pratt, on 21 May 1941.¹ He died on 11 June 1944 at age 27 at Caen, France, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Essex Regiment.¹
