     Rear-Admiral Walter Reginald Glynn Petre was born on 14 December 1873.¹ He was the son of Sir George Glynn Petre and Emma Katharine Julia Sneyd.² He married Agnes Marie Cadic, daughter of Eugene Cadic, on 22 January 1906.¹ He died on 26 December 1942 at age 69.¹
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He was Captain of the Port of Constantinople.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹

     Agnes Marie Cadic was born in 1880 at Brighton, Sussex, England.² She was the daughter of Eugene Cadic.¹ She married Rear-Admiral Walter Reginald Glynn Petre, son of Sir George Glynn Petre and Emma Katharine Julia Sneyd, on 22 January 1906.¹ She died on 21 September 1963.¹
     Her married name became Petre.

     S/Ldr. Walter George Glynn Petre was born on 28 October 1906 at Weymouth, Dorset, England.² He is the son of Rear-Admiral Walter Reginald Glynn Petre and Agnes Marie Cadic.¹ He married Myra Millicent Willows, daughter of Arthur Willows, on 12 April 1939.¹
     He was educated at The Oratory School, Edgbaston, Warwickshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force.¹ He was with BOAC.¹

     Myra Millicent Willows was the daughter of Arthur Willows.¹ She married S/Ldr. Walter George Glynn Petre, son of Rear-Admiral Walter Reginald Glynn Petre and Agnes Marie Cadic, on 12 April 1939.¹ She died on 8 March 1984.¹
     Her married name became Petre.

     Arthur Willows lived at Rushton Manor, Kettering, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹

     Michael Bernard Petre was born on 30 September 1946.¹ He is the son of S/Ldr. Walter George Glynn Petre and Myra Millicent Willows.¹ He married Pauline Carole Weston, daughter of Lionel Alfred Weston, in 1978.¹
     He was educated at St. George’s College, Weybridge, Surrey, England.¹ He lived in 2003 at Four Winds, Cookham Dean, Berkshire, England.¹

     Geraldine Marie Petre was born on 12 November 1944.¹ She is the daughter of S/Ldr. Walter George Glynn Petre and Myra Millicent Willows.¹ She married, firstly, David Robin Petre-Mears on 23 September 1967.¹ She and David Robin Petre-Mears were divorced in 1987.¹ She married, secondly, Michael Guest on 13 June 1992.¹
     From 23 September 1967, her married name became Petre-Mears.¹ From 13 June 1992, her married name became Guest.¹ She lived in 2003 at La Mouette, Sark, Channel Islands.¹

     Anne Rosalie Petre was born on 19 August 1949.¹ She is the daughter of S/Ldr. Walter George Glynn Petre and Myra Millicent Willows.¹

     Lt.-Cdr. Henry Edward Petre was born on 9 November 1907 at Gosport, Hampshire, England.² He was the son of Rear-Admiral Walter Reginald Glynn Petre and Agnes Marie Cadic.¹ He married Rosemary Sonia Gottschalk, daughter of Benjamin Gottschalk, on 9 September 1939.¹ He died in January 1994 at age 86 at Eastbourne, Sussex, England.^2,3
     He was educated at The Oratory School, Edgbaston, Warwickshire, England.¹ He was educated at Nautical College, Pangbourne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Naval Reserve.¹
