     He was educated at Trinity College School, Port Hope, Ontario, Canada.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1971.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1972.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Wilson, of Eshton Hall, co.
