     Violet Isabel Slingsby Bethell was born on 28 February 1859.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Slingsby Bethell and Caroline Chaplin.² She married Major Archibald William Beach, son of Rt. Hon. William Wither Bramston Beach and Caroline Chichester Cleveland, on 5 January 1888.¹ She died on 19 September 1891 at age 32.¹
     From 5 January 1888, her married name became Beach.¹

     Lt.-Col. George Harrison Champion de Crespigny was born on 9 July 1863 at Folkestone, Kent, England.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. George Blicke Champion de Crespigny and Elizabeth Jane Buchanan.¹ He married Gwendoline Blanche Clarke-Thornhill, daughter of William Capel Clarke-Thornhill and Clara Thornhill, in 1890 at Kettering, Northamptonshire, England.¹ He died on 1 January 1945 at age 81.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Northampton.¹

     Llewelyn Slingsby Bethell was born on 22 July 1889.¹ He was the son of Hon. Slingsby Bethell and Laura Beatrice Maunsell.² He married Margery Gladys Farnell, daughter of George Stanley Farnell, on 6 July 1914.¹ He died on 5 January 1971 at age 81.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.¹ He graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1912 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of officer in 1917 in the Nigeria and Gold Coast Regiments.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Margery Gladys Farnell was born on 18 June 1886.¹ She was the daughter of George Stanley Farnell.¹ She married Llewelyn Slingsby Bethell, son of Hon. Slingsby Bethell and Laura Beatrice Maunsell, on 6 July 1914.¹ She died in 1985 at Sussex, England.¹
     From 6 July 1914, her married name became Bethell.
