Elspeth Marjory Jessie Weir was born on 18 March 1912.¹ She is the daughter of William Weir, 1st Viscount Weir and Alice Blanche MacConnachie.² She married, firstly, Richard Fairfax William Cartwright, son of Sir Fairfax Leighton Cartwright, on 31 January 1933.¹ She married, secondly, Major Eustace Benyon Hoare, son of Alfred Ernest Hoare and Edith Gertrude Benyon, on 29 November 1957.¹
     From 31 January 1933, her married name became Cartwright. From 29 November 1957, her married name became Hoare.¹

     Sir Fairfax Leighton Cartwright is the son of William Cornwallis Cartwright.³

     Richard Fairfax William Cartwright was the son of Sir Fairfax Leighton Cartwright.² He married Hon. Elspeth Marjory Jessie Weir, daughter of William Weir, 1st Viscount Weir and Alice Blanche MacConnachie, on 31 January 1933.¹ He died on 31 March 1954.¹
     He lived at Aynhoe Park, Banbury, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Edward Fairfax Cartwright was born on 23 April 1936.¹ He was the son of Richard Fairfax William Cartwright and Hon. Elspeth Marjory Jessie Weir.² He died on 31 March 1954 at age 17.¹

     She was educated at Instutute of Achaeology, London University, London, England.¹ She was educated at Goldsmith’s College, London University, London, England^G.¹ She was educated at Tavistock Clinic, London, England.¹ From 21 April 1979, her married name became Cartwright-Hignett.¹ She lived in 2003 at Iford Manor, Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England.¹

     Gerald Hignett lived at Manor Farm, Southstoke, Bath, Somerset, England.¹

     John Jeremy Worthington Hignett is the son of Gerald Hignett.² He married Elizabeth Armine Julia Cartwright, daughter of Richard Fairfax William Cartwright and Hon. Elspeth Marjory Jessie Weir, on 21 April 1979.¹
     John Jeremy Worthington Hignett usually went by his middle name of Jeremy.
