     Joseph Watson married Mary Catton, daughter of Thomas Catton, on 10 March 1791.¹ He died on 14 November 1872.¹

     Sir Thomas Watson, 1st Bt. was born on 7 March 1792.¹ He was the son of Joseph Watson and Mary Catton.² He married Sarah Jones, daughter of Edward Jones, on 15 September 1825.¹ He died on 12 December 1882 at age 90.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.)¹ He held the office of President of the Royal College of Physicians.¹ He was Physician in Ordinary to HM Queen Victoria.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Watson, of Henrietta Street, Cavendish Square, London [U.K.] on 27 June 1866.¹

     Sarah Jones was the daughter of Edward Jones.² She married Sir Thomas Watson, 1st Bt., son of Joseph Watson and Mary Catton, on 15 September 1825.¹ She died on 15 September 1830.¹

     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He held the office of Bencher of Lincoln’s Inn.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Watson, of Henrietta Street, Cavendish Square, London [U.K., 1866] on 12 December 1882.¹ He was appointed King’s Counsel (K.C.)¹ He was (an unknown value) on 15 March 1907.¹
