     He graduated from Columbia University, Manhattan, New York City, New York, U.S.A.^G, in 1890 with a Bachelor of Law (A.B.)² He graduated from Columbia University, Manhattan, New York City, New York, U.S.A., in 1891 with a Masterr of Law (A.M.)² He graduated from New York University, School of Law, Manhattan, New York City, New York, U.S.A.^G, in 1892 with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)² He fought in the Spanish-American War in 1898, on the staff of General McCoskry Butt.² He gained the rank of Major between 1900 and 1904 in the 1st Brigade of the Guard.² He held the office of Justice of the New York Supreme Court between 1908 and 1911.² He held the office of U.S. Ambassador to Germany from 29 October 1913 to 5 February 1917.² He wrote the book My Four Years in Germany, published 1917.²

     Albrecht van Borselen Heer van Brigdamme was born in 1310.¹ He was the son of Nicolaas I van Borselen Heer van Sandijk Kleverskerke en Brigdamme and Hedwig van Strijen.¹ He married Beatrix van Domburg.¹ He died on 14 September 1390.¹ He was buried at West-Souburg, The Netherlands.¹

     Irmengarde van Limburg was born in 1260.¹ She was the daughter of Gerard van Limburg Graaf van Durbuy en Roussy and Mechtild von Kleve.¹ She married Gerhard V Graf von Blankenheim on 28 February 1272.¹ She died in 1310.¹

     Gerhard V Graf von Blankenheim was born in 1250.¹ He married Irmengarde van Limburg, daughter of Gerard van Limburg Graaf van Durbuy en Roussy and Mechtild von Kleve, on 28 February 1272.¹ He died in 1310.¹

     Margareta von Ahr-Hochstaden was born in 1220.¹ She married Adolf VI van Limburg Graf von Berg, son of Hendrik IV Hertog van Limburg Graf von Berg and Irmengarde von Berg, in 1240.¹

     Adolf VII van Limburg Graf von Berg was born in 1240.¹ He was the son of Adolf VI van Limburg Graf von Berg and Margareta von Ahr-Hochstaden.¹ He married Elisabeth van Gelre, daughter of Otto II ‘de Lamme’ Graaf van Gelre en Zutphen and Margareta von Kleve, on 17 March 1249.¹ He died on 28 September 1296.¹

     Malcolm C. Campbell-Johnston was born on 14 April 1871.^1,2 He was the son of Alexander Robert Campbell-Johnston and Frances Helen Palliser.¹ He married Maud Fleming Higginson, daughter of Haynes Bingham Higginson, in 1894.¹ He died in 1938.¹

     Guyote Vicomtesse de Lille was born in 1275.¹ She married Walram II von Luxemburg, son of Walram I von Luxemburg Graaf van la Roche and Jeanne de Beauvoir-en-Arrouaise.¹ She died on 7 August 1338.¹

     Willem van Limburg Graf von Berg was born in 1250.¹ He was the son of Adolf VI van Limburg Graf von Berg and Margareta von Ahr-Hochstaden.¹ He married Irmengarde von Kleve, daughter of Dietrich V Graf von Kleve and Aleida von Sponheim Edelfrau von Hülchrath und Saffenberg.¹ He died in 1310.¹
