     Adelaide Sophie Hamersley was the daughter of Hugh Hamersley.² She married Edward Alexander Holmes à Court, son of William Henry Ashe Holmes à Court, 2nd Baron Heytesbury of Heytesbury and Elizabeth Worsley-Holmes, on 21 December 1880.¹ She died on 6 May 1945.¹
     From 21 December 1880, her married name became Holmes à Court.

     Colonel Rupert Edward Holmes à Court was born on 6 February 1882.¹ He was the son of Edward Alexander Holmes à Court and Adelaide Sophie Hamersley.² He married Linda Katharine Cecil Smith, daughter of Reverend Cecil E. Smith, on 1 December 1917.¹ He died in 1958.¹
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of DAA and QMG in 1915.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Shropshire Light Infantry.¹ He was Colonel in Charge of Admininistration of the Northern Ireland in 1939.¹

     Linda Katharine Cecil Smith was the daughter of Reverend Cecil E. Smith.² She married Colonel Rupert Edward Holmes à Court, son of Edward Alexander Holmes à Court and Adelaide Sophie Hamersley, on 1 December 1917.¹ She died on 18 August 1935.¹
     From 1 December 1917, her married name became Holmes à Court.

     Linda Rosemary Holmes à Court was born on 2 May 1919.¹ She is the daughter of Colonel Rupert Edward Holmes à Court and Linda Katharine Cecil Smith.² She married Richard Paton Pollitt on 1 June 1940.¹
     Her married name became Pollitt.

     Richard Paton Pollitt married Linda Rosemary Holmes à Court, daughter of Colonel Rupert Edward Holmes à Court and Linda Katharine Cecil Smith, on 1 June 1940.¹
     He lived at Makalanga, Mazoe, Zimbabwe^G.² He was Shropshire Yeomanry.¹

     George Edward Paton Pollitt was born on 18 February 1947.¹ He is the son of Richard Paton Pollitt and Linda Rosemary Holmes à Court.²

     Andrew Gerald Paton Pollitt was born on 12 March 1949.¹ He is the son of Richard Paton Pollitt and Linda Rosemary Holmes à Court.²

     Nicolaas II van Borselen Heer van Brigdamme Zoutelande Sint-Laurens en Koudekerke was the son of Albrecht van Borselen Heer van Brigdamme and Beatrix van Domburg.¹ He married Maria van Arnemuiden in 1387.¹ He died on 18 March 1412 at Middelburg, The Netherlands.¹ He was buried at Tertianen Abbey, Middelburg, The Netherlands.¹

     Rosemary Caroline Pollitt was born on 10 March 1943.¹ She is the daughter of Richard Paton Pollitt and Linda Rosemary Holmes à Court.²
