     William Wallace of Elderslie was the son of William Wallace of Elderslie and Janet Hamilton of Ferguslie.2 He married Katherine Crawfurd, daughter of Hugh Crawfurd of Kilbirnie and Margaret Colquhoun.1 He died in July 1623.1
     He lived at Elderslie, Renfrewshire, Scotland.1

     Her married name became Wallace.

Hugh Wallace of Elderslie1

     Hugh Wallace of Elderslie was the son of William Wallace of Elderslie and Helen (?)2 He married Hon. Isabel Sandilands, daughter of James Sandilands, 2nd Lord Torphichen and Elizabeth Heriot.2 He died, without issue.1
     In 1637 he was served heir.1 He sold Elderslie to Sir Thomas Wallace of Craigie, who conveyed them to his own son, Sir Thomas Wallace, who conveyed them to John Wallace, eldest son of William Wallace, of Glasgow, brother of John Wallace of Neilstounside in 1678.1
