     From 7 August 1948, her married name became le Messurier. She lived in 2003 at 48 East Witton, Leyburn, Yorkshire, England.¹

     Hugh Arnott le Messurier married Claire Shelley in 1915.² He died in 1964.²

     He gained the rank of Brigadier in the King’s Regiment.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     Jacquine Shelley le Messurier was born on 16 June 1949.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Hugh Shelley le Messurier and Rosemary Alice Champney Walker.² She married Brigadier Jeremy John Gaskell, son of Major John Rodney Gaskell, on 18 October 1969.¹
     From 18 October 1969, her married name became Gaskell. She lived in 2003 at The Rose House, Wykeham, Old Malton, Yorkshire, England.¹

     Victoria Jacquine Gaskell was born on 28 August 1971.¹ She is the daughter of Brigadier Jeremy John Gaskell and Jacquine Shelley le Messurier.² She married Matthew Power on 5 June 1999.¹ She and Matthew Power were divorced in 2002.¹

     Joanna Louise Gaskell was born on 7 January 1973.¹ She is the daughter of Brigadier Jeremy John Gaskell and Jacquine Shelley le Messurier.² She married, firstly, Guy Standring Marsh on 23 September 1995.¹ She and Guy Standring Marsh were divorced in 1998.¹ She married, secondly, Nicholas Carl Davies on 2 October 2000.¹
