     Harry Courtnay Jackson was born in 1853 at Ayrshire, Scotland.¹ He was the son of George William Collins Jackson and Catherine Price Lewis.¹ He died in 1887.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Cavalry.¹

     Emily Maude M. Poole was born in 1866 at Clifton, Bristol, England.¹ She married George Wilfred Collins Jackson, son of George William Collins Jackson and Catherine Price Lewis, in 1890 at Hereford, Herefordshire, England.¹ She died in 1891.¹
     From 1890, her married name became Jackson.¹

     Sir John Turnbull Usher, 3rd Bt. was born on 2 June 1891.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Usher, 2nd Bt. and Katherine Scott Turnbull.² He married Jean Elspeth Usher, daughter of Harry Lawrence Usher, on 11 June 1918.¹ He died on 5 May 1951 at age 59.¹
     He was educated at Uppingham School, Uppingham, Rutland, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Inniskilling Dragoons.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Reserve Officers, 9th Lancers.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel and Brevet-Colonel in the Lanarkshire Yeomanry.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He was admitted to Royal Company of Archers.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Usher, of Norton, Ratho, co. Midlothian and of Wells, Hobkirk, co. Roxburgh [U.K., 1899] on 21 February 1933.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1945.¹

     Thomas Usher was born in 1882.¹ He married Margaret Dorothy Usher, daughter of Reverend William Neville Usher and Margaret Louise Stapylton Barnes.¹

     Jean Elspeth Usher was the daughter of Harry Lawrence Usher.² She married Sir John Turnbull Usher, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Robert Usher, 2nd Bt. and Katherine Scott Turnbull, on 11 June 1918.¹ She died on 6 January 1950.¹

     Katharine Alice Usher was born on 28 January 1920.¹ She was the daughter of Sir John Turnbull Usher, 3rd Bt. and Jean Elspeth Usher.² She married George Simpson MacKnight, son of George Simpson MacKnight, on 10 April 1943.¹ She died in 1978.¹
     From 10 April 1943, her married name became MacKnight.

     George Simpson MacKnight lived at Linlithgow, Linlithgowshire, Scotland.¹

     George Simpson MacKnight was the son of George Simpson MacKnight.² He married Katharine Alice Usher, daughter of Sir John Turnbull Usher, 3rd Bt. and Jean Elspeth Usher, on 10 April 1943.¹ He died on 18 December 1952.¹
     He was a practising Writer to the Signet (W.S.)¹

     Neil John MacKnight was born on 27 December 1946.¹ He is the son of George Simpson MacKnight and Katharine Alice Usher.²
     He was educated at Tabley House, Knutsford, Cheshire, England.¹
