Reverend Richard St. John Tyrwhitt1 

Reverend Richard St. John Tyrwhitt was born on 19 March 1827.1 He was the son of Robert Philip Tyrwhitt and Catharine Wigley St. John.3 He married, firstly, Eliza Anne Spencer-Stanhope, daughter of John Spencer Stanhope and Lady Elizabeth Wilhelmina Coke, on 28 June 1858.1 He married, secondly, Caroline Yorke, daughter of John Yorke and Mary Wright, on 2 January 1861.4 He married Eliza Jane Waddell, daughter of Charles Waddell, on 16 June 1885.3 He died on 6 November 1895 at age 68 at 62 Banbury Road, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.4
He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Vicar between 1858 and 1872 at St. Mary Magdalen, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He wrote the book A Handbook of Pictorial Art, published 1866.4
