     Clara Gluckstein was born in 1863 at Whitechapel, London, England.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Gluckstein and Hannah Joseph.² She married Coleman Joseph, son of Josiah Joseph and Celia Moss, in 1885 at Islington, London, England.¹ She died in 1918 at Hampstead, London, England.¹
     From 1885, her married name became Joseph.¹
