     Her married name became Percival.¹

     Sarah Anne Vanessa Thomson was born in 1974.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Frederick Douglas David Thomson of Glendarroch, 3rd Bt. and Caroline Anne Lewis.²

     William Thomson died on 28 March 1889.¹

     James Wishart Thomson was born on 12 July 1841.¹ He was the son of William Thomson.² He married Barbara Gray Cunningham, daughter of Hugh Cunningham, in December 1865.¹ He died on 20 August 1907 at age 66, with other issue:.¹

     Barbara Gray Cunningham was the daughter of Hugh Cunningham.² She married James Wishart Thomson, son of William Thomson, in December 1865.¹ She died on 6 November 1921.¹
     Her married name became Thomson.

     Sir Frederick Charles Thomson of Glendarroch, 1st Bt. was born on 27 May 1875.¹ He was the son of James Wishart Thomson and Barbara Gray Cunningham.² He married Constance Margaret Hotson, daughter of Hamilton Andrew Hotson and Margaret Elliot Richie, on 7 April 1904.¹ He died on 21 April 1935 at age 59.¹
     He was a practising Advocate in 1901.¹ He was a practising barrister in 1904.¹ He fought in the First World War, in Egypt and Salonika.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Lovat Scouts and Scottish Horse.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for South Aberdeen.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)¹ He was appointed King’s Counsel (K.C.) (Scotland) in 1923.¹ He held the office of Solicitor-General [Scotland] between 1923 and 1924.¹ He was a Lord Commissioner of the Treasury between 1923 and 1928.¹ He was Vice-Chamberlain of the Household between 1928 and 1929.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Thomson, of Glendarroch, Midlothian [U.K.] on 28 March 1929.¹

     Hamilton Andrew Hotson was born on 23 April 1844.² He married Margaret Elliot Richie on 22 June 1876.² He died in 1912.²

     Constance Margaret Hotson was born in 1880.² She was the daughter of Hamilton Andrew Hotson and Margaret Elliot Richie.^3,2 She married Sir Frederick Charles Thomson of Glendarroch, 1st Bt., son of James Wishart Thomson and Barbara Gray Cunningham, on 7 April 1904.¹ She died on 22 May 1970.¹
     She was general manager of the British Linen Bank, Edinburgh.¹ From 7 April 1904, her married name became Thomson.
