     From 1934, her married name became Jones.¹

     Reverend William Atkinson lived at Thorpe Arch, Yorkshire, England.¹

     Elizabeth Sarah Atkinson was the daughter of Reverend William Atkinson.² She married Matthew Thompson, son of Reverend John Thompson and Mary Peile, on 30 April 1819.¹ She died on 20 June 1859.¹
     From 30 April 1819, her married name became Thompson.

     Sir Matthew William Thompson, 1st Bt. was born on 1 February 1820.² He is the son of Matthew Thompson and Elizabeth Sarah Atkinson.² He married Mary Ann Thompson, daughter of Benjamin Thompson and Elizabeth Whitaker, on 10 May 1843.² He died on 1 December 1891 at age 71.²
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was a practising barrister in 1862.¹ He held the office of Mayor of Bradford between 1862 and 1863.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Bradford between 1867 and 1868.² He held the office of Mayor of Bradford between 1872 and 1873.² He was chairman of Forth Bridge and Midland Railway Companies.² He was created 1st Baronet Thompson, of Park Gate, Guiseley, co. York [U.K.] on 18 April 1890.¹

     Reverend Benjamin Peile Thompson was born on 3 February 1828.¹ He was the son of Matthew Thompson and Elizabeth Sarah Atkinson.² He married Rosa Grevis James, daughter of Colonel Grevisse James, on 14 June 1854.¹
     He had a son and two daughters (one of whom died an infant.)¹ He graduated from St. Catharine’s Hall Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Colonel Grevisse James lived at Ightham Court, Kent, England.¹

     Rosa Grevis James is the daughter of Colonel Grevisse James.² She married Reverend Benjamin Peile Thompson, son of Matthew Thompson and Elizabeth Sarah Atkinson, on 14 June 1854.¹
     From 14 June 1854, her married name became Thompson.

     Mary Elizabeth Thompson is the daughter of Matthew Thompson and Elizabeth Sarah Atkinson.² She married William James Lumsden.¹
     Her married name became Lumsden.

     William James Lumsden married Mary Elizabeth Thompson, daughter of Matthew Thompson and Elizabeth Sarah Atkinson.¹ He died on 27 August 1875.²
     He lived at Balmedie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹
