     Colonel Joseph Gerald Gaskell held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He lived at Cwrt Cefn, Lisvane, Glamorgan, Wales.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹

     Charles Peter Gaskell was born on 16 October 1950.¹ He is the son of Joseph Gerald Gaskell and Maureen Elizabeth Jane Thomas.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹

     Ilona (?) married István Tisza von Borosjenö, son of Kálmán Tisza von Borosjenö and Helene Johanna Josepha Mathilde Gräfin von Degenfeld-Schonburg.¹

     Vice-Admiral Sir Thomas Boulden Thompson, 1st Bt. was born on 28 February 1766.¹ He was the son of Commodore Edward Thompson.¹ He married Anne Raikes, daughter of Robert Raikes, on 25 February 1799.¹ He died on 3 March 1828 at age 62.¹
     He was adopted by an unknown person.¹ He gained the rank of officer in 1797 in the Royal Navy.¹ He was He served under Nelson at Tenerife (wounded), was commander of the 50-gun brig HMS Leander at the Battle of the Nile and while carrying dispatches to the U.K. was forced after a six-hour resistance against a French battleship Le Généreux, 74 guns, to surrender.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1799 on his return to England.¹ He was commander of HMS Bellona at the Battle of Copenhagen, where he lost a leg.¹ He held the office of Comptroller of the Navy between 1802 and 1806.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Thompson, of Hartsbourne Manor, co. Hertford [U.K.] on 11 December 1806.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Rochester between 1807 and 1816.¹ He held the office of Treasurer of Greenwich Hospital in 1811.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1815.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) in 1822.¹ He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral of the Red.¹

     Robert Raikes lived at Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England.¹

     Anne Raikes was the daughter of Robert Raikes.² She married Vice-Admiral Sir Thomas Boulden Thompson, 1st Bt., son of Commodore Edward Thompson, on 25 February 1799.¹ She died on 9 September 1846.¹
     From 25 February 1799, her married name became Thompson.

     Vice-Admiral Sir Thomas Raikes Trigge Thompson, 2nd Bt. was born on 1 April 1804.¹ He was the son of Vice-Admiral Sir Thomas Boulden Thompson, 1st Bt. and Anne Raikes.² He married Gertrude Raikes, daughter of Reverend Robert Napier Raikes, on 20 October 1847.¹ He died on 26 September 1865 at age 61.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Thompson, of Hartsbourne Manor, co. Hertford [U.K., 1806] on 3 March 1828.¹ He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral.¹
