Richard Francis Talbot1 
He was styled as Earl of Tyrconnel. In 1721 Regiment of Irish Horse in.1 He gained the rank of Captain in February 1728/29 in the Fitz James’s Regiment of Irish Horse in French service.1 In 1745 he was captured at sea by British while sailing to join the Uprising in Scotland.1 He held the office of French Minister Plenipotentiary to Prussia between 1748 and 1752.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in January 1747/48 in the French army.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Order of St. Louis.1
