     Isabella Swinton was born in 1767.¹ She was the daughter of John Swinton, Lord Swinton and Margaret Mitchelson.² She died on 12 March 1834, unmarried.¹

     Elizabeth Swinton is the daughter of John Swinton, Lord Swinton and Margaret Mitchelson.² She married Lt.-Col. Hon. George Carnegie, son of Admiral George Carnegie, 6th Earl of Northesk and Lady Anne Leslie, in 1796.¹
     From 1796, her married name became Carnegie.
