     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, London, England.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lincolnshire.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Rifle Brigade and 5th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1919.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1942.¹ He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire in 1946.¹

     Charles Constable Curtis married Edith Fanny Onslow, daughter of Reverend Thomas George Onslow and Maria Augusta Hawkins, on 31 January 1882.² He died on 13 May 1926.²

     From 29 July 1914, her married name became Sutton-Nelthorpe.

     Lt.-Col. Roger Sutton-Nelthorpe was born on 5 March 1918.¹ He was the son of Colonel Oliver Sutton-Nelthorpe and Marjorie Elspeth Constable Curtis.² He died on 4 May 2000 at age 82.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1945.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry (Territorial Army.)¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Parts of Lindsey in 1946.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lincolnshire in 1950.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Lincolnshire in 1970.¹

     John Richard Sutton-Nelthorpe was born on 26 January 1923.¹ He was the son of Colonel Oliver Sutton-Nelthorpe and Marjorie Elspeth Constable Curtis.² He married Mary Elizabeth Brown, daughter of Tom Cunningham Brown, on 15 July 1946.¹ He died on 31 July 1994 at age 71.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Tom Cunningham Brown lived at The Cottage, Scawby, Lincolnshire, England.¹

     Mary Elizabeth Brown is the daughter of Tom Cunningham Brown.² She married John Richard Sutton-Nelthorpe, son of Colonel Oliver Sutton-Nelthorpe and Marjorie Elspeth Constable Curtis, on 15 July 1946.¹
     From 15 July 1946, her married name became Sutton-Nelthorpe.

     Anthony Julian Sutton-Nelthorpe was born on 3 May 1948.¹ He is the son of John Richard Sutton-Nelthorpe and Mary Elizabeth Brown.² He married Margaret V. Schumacher, daughter of R. F. Schumacher, on 29 December 1973.¹
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.¹

     R. F. Schumacher lived at Blue Cottage. Upton, Didcot, Berkshire, England.¹

     Margaret V. Schumacher is the daughter of R. F. Schumacher.² She married Anthony Julian Sutton-Nelthorpe, son of John Richard Sutton-Nelthorpe and Mary Elizabeth Brown, on 29 December 1973.¹
