Claiborne de Borda Pell1 

Claiborne de Borda Pell was born on 22 November 1918 at Manhattan, New York City, New York, U.S.A.1 He was the son of Herbert Claiborne Pell and Matilda Bigelow.1 He married Nuala O’Donnell, daughter of Charles Oliver O’Donnell and Josephine Hartford, in 1944.1 He died on 1 January 2009 at age 90.1
He was educated at Princeton University, Princeton, New Jersey, U.S.A.1 He held the office of Senator [U.S.] between 1961 and 1997, for Rhode Island.1
