     Alice Isabella Stronge was the daughter of Sir John Calvert Stronge, 4th Bt. and Lady Margaret Zoe Caulfeild.² She died on 1 December 1941, unmarried.¹

     Charles Walter Stronge was born on 29 June 1816.¹ He was the son of Sir James Mathew Stronge, 2nd Bt. and Isabella Calvert.² He married Harriet Eades, daughter of William Eades, on 12 September 1860.¹ He died on 30 January 1898 at age 81.¹
     He was with Treasury.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Harriet Eades was the daughter of William Eades.² She married Charles Walter Stronge, son of Sir James Mathew Stronge, 2nd Bt. and Isabella Calvert, on 12 September 1860.¹ She died on 22 November 1893.¹
     From 12 September 1860, her married name became Stronge.

     Walter Cecil Stronge was born on 15 May 1860.¹ He was the son of Charles Walter Stronge and Harriet Eades.² He married Violet Ada Phillips, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Benjamin Travell Phillips and Clara Marsh, on 10 October 1888.¹ He died on 11 November 1930 at age 70.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Sir Benjamin Travell Phillips was born on 13 October 1804 at St. Clement Danes, Holbirn, London, England.² He married Clara Marsh.² He married Marianne Henrietta Sophia Marrie on 29 August 1833 at St. Marys’ Bryanston Square, London, England.² He died on 4 May 1880 at age 75 at The Louvre Hotel, Paris, France.²

     Violet Ada Phillips was born on 24 March 1865 at London, England.² She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Benjamin Travell Phillips and Clara Marsh.^3,2 She married Walter Cecil Stronge, son of Charles Walter Stronge and Harriet Eades, on 10 October 1888.¹ She died on 11 September 1958 at age 93 at St. Mary’s Convent, St. Aldhelms Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, England.¹
     From 10 October 1888, her married name became Stronge.

     Brigadier Humphrey Cecil Travell Stronge was born on 24 February 1891.¹ He was the son of Walter Cecil Stronge and Violet Ada Phillips.² He married Elsie Margaret Burnside, daughter of Reverend Walter Fletcher Burnside and Annie Lawson, on 26 September 1923.¹ He died on 27 March 1977 at age 86.¹
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1919.¹ He gained the rank of Brigadier in the The Buffs.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1945.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)¹

     Reverend Walter Fletcher Burnside was born on 13 January 1874 at Hertingfordbury, Hertfordshire, England.² He was the son of Reverend Frederick Burnside and Eliza Venour Fletcher.² He married Annie Lawson on 28 November 1898 at St. George’s Church, Stockport, Cheshire, England.² He died in 1949 at Woodchester, Gloucestershire, England.²
     He graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1895 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was Assistant Master between 1897 and 1908 at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.² He was Curate in 1899 at Hucclecote, Gloucestershire, England.²

     Elsie Margaret Burnside is the daughter of Reverend Walter Fletcher Burnside and Annie Lawson.^2,3 She married Brigadier Humphrey Cecil Travell Stronge, son of Walter Cecil Stronge and Violet Ada Phillips, on 26 September 1923.¹
     From 26 September 1923, her married name became Stronge.
