Sir William Galbraith, 1st of Buthernock1

     Sir William Galbraith, 1st of Buthernock was the son of Arthur Galbraith.2 He married unknown daughter Comyn, daughter of John ‘the Red’ Comyn, 2nd of Badenoch and Joan de Valence.1 He died after 1278.1
     He held the position of 4th Chief of the Galbraiths from.1 He lived at Baldernock, Scotland.1 Circa 1238 he had charter of Buthernock with Kincaid from his cousin Maldwen.1 He held the office of Co-Regent of Scotland in 1255.1
