     Edward Boyd Fawcett was born on 11 October 1839 at Poona, India.1 He was the son of Henry Fawcett and Mary Sophia Sullivan.1 He was baptised on 17 October 1839 at Poona, India.1 He married Myra Elizabeth MacDougall, daughter of Andrew MacDougall and Myra Sophia Nuthall, on 8 June 1865 at Hove, Sussex, England.2 He died in 1884.1
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.)1

     Myra Elizabeth MacDougall was born at India.1 She was the daughter of Andrew MacDougall and Myra Sophia Nuthall.2 She married Edward Boyd Fawcett, son of Henry Fawcett and Mary Sophia Sullivan, on 8 June 1865 at Hove, Sussex, England.2 She died on 14 October 1902.2
     From 8 June 1865, her married name became Fawcett.1
