     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery, Territorial Army.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Diana Winifred Mary Renshaw was born on 11 April 1914 at Marylebone, London, England.^1,2 She was the daughter of Henry Arthur Renshaw and Lady Winifred Edith Clements.^1,2 She married Captain James Murray Carnegie, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Lancelot Douglas Carnegie and Marion Alice de Gourney Barclay, on 25 April 1939.¹ She died on 30 March 1998 at age 83.¹
     Her married name became Carnegie.

     Henry Arthur Renshaw was born on 18 February 1851 at Portman Street, London, England.^2,3 He was the son of Thomas Charles Renshaw and Elizabeth Blaker.² He married Lady Winifred Edith Clements, daughter of Robert Bermingham Clements, 4th Earl of Leitrim and Lady Winifred Coke, on 21 January 1899 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.³ He died on 25 December 1918 at age 67 at 37 Portman Square, London, England.^2,4
     He was also known as Arthur Henry Renshaw.² He was He founded the Texas Land & Mortgage Company at Dundee, Angus, Scotland.⁴ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He lived at Watlington Park, Oxfordshire, England.²

     Carolyn Mary Carnegie was born on 25 June 1940.¹ She was the daughter of Captain James Murray Carnegie and Diana Winifred Mary Renshaw.¹ She died on 27 December 1940.¹

     Susan Diana Carnegie was born on 27 June 1943.¹ She was the daughter of Captain James Murray Carnegie and Diana Winifred Mary Renshaw.¹ She married James Alexander McKenzie in 1982.¹ She died in 2000.¹
     From 1982, her married name became McKenzie.¹

     Sarah Elisabeth Carnegie was born on 10 July 1948.¹ She was the daughter of Captain James Murray Carnegie and Diana Winifred Mary Renshaw.¹ She died on 3 October 1948.¹

     Charlotte Marion Carnegie was born on 2 April 1954.¹ She is the daughter of Captain James Murray Carnegie and Diana Winifred Mary Renshaw.¹ She married Richard Kenneth Purkis in 1983.¹

     Sir Hugh Gurney was born on 4 February 1878. He was the son of John Gurney and Isabel Charlotte Blake-Humfrey.¹ He married Mariota Susan Carnegie, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Lancelot Douglas Carnegie and Marion Alice de Gourney Barclay, on 3 July 1911.¹ He died on 7 March 1968 at age 90.¹
