Diana Elizabeth Maxwell was born on 6 June 1957.¹ She is the daughter of Commander John David Maxwell and Georgiana Angela Ross, Baroness de Ros of Helmsley.¹ She married, firstly, Jonathan Watkins on 29 November 1976.¹ She and Jonathan Watkins were divorced in 1978.¹ She married, secondly, Don Richard Bell, son of Naple Christopher Bell, in 1978.¹ She and Don Richard Bell were divorced in 1981.¹ She married, thirdly, Eric Ford in 1987.¹ She and Eric Ford were divorced in 1992.¹
     From 29 November 1976, her married name became Watkins. From 1978, her married name became Bell. In 1992 her name was legally changed to Maxwell.¹

     Angela Siân Ross is the daughter of Peter Campbell Ross.¹ She married Peter Trevor Maxwell, 27th Lord de Ros of Helmsley, son of Commander John David Maxwell and Georgiana Angela Ross, Baroness de Ros of Helmsley, on 5 September 1987.¹
     From 5 September 1987, her married name became Maxwell.

     Hon. Finbar James Maxwell was born on 14 November 1988.¹ He is the son of Peter Trevor Maxwell, 27th Lord de Ros of Helmsley and Angela Siân Ross.¹

     Hon. Katharine Georgiana Maxwell was born on 26 October 1990.¹ She is the daughter of Peter Trevor Maxwell, 27th Lord de Ros of Helmsley and Angela Siân Ross.¹

     Hon. Jessye Maeve Maxwell was born on 8 July 1992.¹ She is the daughter of Peter Trevor Maxwell, 27th Lord de Ros of Helmsley and Angela Siân Ross.¹

     Jonathan Watkins married Hon. Diana Elizabeth Maxwell, daughter of Commander John David Maxwell and Georgiana Angela Ross, Baroness de Ros of Helmsley, on 29 November 1976.¹ He and Hon. Diana Elizabeth Maxwell were divorced in 1978.¹

     Don Richard Bell is the son of Naple Christopher Bell.¹ He married Hon. Diana Elizabeth Maxwell, daughter of Commander John David Maxwell and Georgiana Angela Ross, Baroness de Ros of Helmsley, in 1978.¹ He and Hon. Diana Elizabeth Maxwell were divorced in 1981.¹

     Eric Ford married Hon. Diana Elizabeth Maxwell, daughter of Commander John David Maxwell and Georgiana Angela Ross, Baroness de Ros of Helmsley, in 1987.¹ He and Hon. Diana Elizabeth Maxwell were divorced in 1992.¹

     Nisha Maxwell was born in 1988.¹ She is the daughter of Eric Ford and Hon. Diana Elizabeth Maxwell.¹

     Hon. Charles Dudley Anthony Ross was born on 5 October 1907.¹ He was the son of Arthur John Ross and Una Mary Dawson, Baroness de Ros of Helmsley.¹ He married, firstly, Lady Elizabeth Jocelyn, daughter of Robert Soame Jocelyn, 8th Earl of Roden and Elinor Jessie Parr, on 31 August 1940.¹ He and Lady Elizabeth Jocelyn were divorced in 1949.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Margaret Graham in 1953.¹ He died in 1976.¹
     He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Seaforth Highlanders.¹
