     Eleanora Julia Bolton was born on 11 June 1828 at Trull, Somerset, England.¹ She was the daughter of Cornelius Henry Bolton and Alicia Sutton.¹ She married Farnham Maxwell-Lyte, son of Henry Francis Lyte and Anne Maxwell, on 6 February 1851 at Norton Fitzwarren, Somerset, England.¹ She died on 7 November 1896 at age 68 at Kensington, London, England.¹ She was buried at Brompton Cemetery, London, England.¹
     From 6 February 1851, her married name became Maxwell-Lyte.¹
