     He was educated at Loretto School, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ He lived in 2003 at Rose Cottage, Low Hameringham, Horncastle, Lincolnshire, England.¹

     Montague Eric Appleby was a practising solicitor.¹ He lived at Radcliffe-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, England.¹

     Patricia Margaret Appleby is the daughter of Montague Eric Appleby.² She married Michael Robert Paige, son of Major Robin Paige and Mary Nora Shelley, on 4 June 1966.¹
     From 4 June 1966, her married name became Paige.

     Nicholas Robert Paige was born in 1972.¹ He is the son of Michael Robert Paige and Patricia Margaret Appleby.²

     Catherine Mary Paige was born on 3 November 1968.¹ She is the daughter of Michael Robert Paige and Patricia Margaret Appleby.² She married Dr. Alexander Gray, son of Colin Gray, in 1994.¹
     From 1994, her married name became Gray.
