     Harry Byam Shelley was born on 14 November 1838.¹ He was the son of Adolphus Edward Shelley and Amelie Hinchliffe.² He died on 14 May 1865 at age 26.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the 31st Regiment, Madras Light Infantry.¹

     Montagu Adolphus Shelley was born on 11 February 1842.¹ He was the son of Adolphus Edward Shelley and Amelie Hinchliffe.²
     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy.¹

     Margaret Hogg was the daughter of Alexander Hogg.¹ She married James Barkley, son of Alexander Barkley and Jane Deacon, on 31 July 1868.¹
     From 31 July 1868, her married name became Barkley.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Francis Edward Drewe was the son of Edward Drewe. He married Katherine Cecilia Shelley, daughter of Adolphus Edward Shelley and Amelie Hinchliffe, in 1885.¹ He died on 20 February 1891.¹
     He lived at Grange, Devon, England.¹

     Spencer Shelley was born on 24 December 1813.¹ He was the son of Sir John Shelley, 6th Bt. and Frances Winckley.² He married Susanna Martin-Leake, daughter of Stephen Ralph Martin-Leake and Georgeana Stevens, on 1 February 1843.¹ He died on 10 March 1908 at age 94.¹
     He was with Treasury.¹

     Stephen Ralph Martin-Leake was born in 1782.² He was the son of John Martin-Leake and Mary Calvert.³ He married Georgeana Stevens, daughter of Captain George Stevens, on 18 June 1818 at Old Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He died on 7 April 1865.³
     He was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury.³ He lived at Thorpe Hall, Essex, England.¹

     Susanna Martin-Leake was born on 1 February 1824.² She was the daughter of Stephen Ralph Martin-Leake and Georgeana Stevens.^3,4 She was baptised on 10 March 1824 at St. Mary’s Church, St. Marylebone, London, England^G.² She married Spencer Shelley, son of Sir John Shelley, 6th Bt. and Frances Winckley, on 1 February 1843.¹ She died on 1 May 1920 at age 96.¹
     From 1 February 1843, her married name became Shelley.

     Spencer Shelley was born on 24 October 1843.¹ He was the son of Spencer Shelley and Susanna Martin-Leake.² He married, firstly, Mary Renny Watson, daughter of Thomas Watson, on 10 February 1876.¹ He married, secondly, Gertrude Hutchinson, daughter of William Henry Heap Hutchinson and Mary Ann Cookson, on 20 June 1916.¹ He died on 17 November 1932 at age 89.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucesterhire.¹

     Mary Renny Watson was the daughter of Thomas Watson.² She married Spencer Shelley, son of Spencer Shelley and Susanna Martin-Leake, on 10 February 1876.¹ She died on 1 February 1914.¹
     From 10 February 1876, her married name became Shelley.
