He was educated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1700 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Derby between 1713 and 1715.1 He partipicated in an ordinance between 1721 and 1754; Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Derbyshire.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Clitheroe between 1722 and 1727.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Curzon [N.S., 1636] on 6 August 1727.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Curzon, of Kedleston [E., 1641] on 6 August 1727.1
