     Elizabeth Fezard married John James Mansfield, son of James Manfield and Elizabeth (?), in 1730.¹ She died circa May 1740. She was buried in May 1740.¹
     From 1730, her married name became Mansfield.

     Sir James Mansfield was born in 1733.¹ He was the son of John James Mansfield and Elizabeth Fezard.² He married Grace Clayton in April 1765 at St. Margaret’s, Westminster, London, England.³ He died on 23 November 1821.¹
     He graduated from King’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1758 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1758 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He was appointed King’s Counsel (K.C.) in 1772.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cambridge University between 1779 and 1784.¹ He held the office of Solicitor-General between 1780 and 1782.¹ He held the office of Solicitor-General in 1783.¹ He held the office of Treasurer of Middle Temple in 1785.¹ He held the office of Lord Chief Justice of the Court of Common Pleas between 1804 and 1814.¹

     John Edward Mansfield was the son of Sir James Mansfield.² He married Mary Buchanan Smith, daughter of General Samuel Smith, in 1809.¹ He died on 7 July 1841.¹
     He lived at Diggeswell House, Hertfordshire, England.¹

     General Samuel Smith lived at Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A.¹

     Mary Buchanan Smith was the daughter of General Samuel Smith.² She married John Edward Mansfield, son of Sir James Mansfield, in 1809.¹ She died in November 1868.¹
     From 1809, her married name became Mansfield.

     James Mansfield was born circa 1812.¹ He was the son of John Edward Mansfield and Mary Buchanan Smith.² He died in 1849.¹
     He had two daughters.¹

     John Smith Mansfield was born on 22 May 1813.¹ He was the son of John Edward Mansfield and Mary Buchanan Smith.² He married Françoise Julie de Grairer, daughter of Florent de Grairer, on 10 August 1866.¹ He died on 20 June 1905 at age 92.¹
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1842 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Middlesex and London.¹ He held the office of Metropolitan Police Magistrate, Marylebone between 1860 and 1888.¹

     Florent de Grairer lived at Steine, France.¹

     Françoise Julie de Grairer is the daughter of Florent de Grairer.² She married John Smith Mansfield, son of John Edward Mansfield and Mary Buchanan Smith, on 10 August 1866.¹
     From 10 August 1866, her married name became Mansfield.
