     Rear-Admiral Hon. George Fraser was born on 4 March 1887.1 He was the son of Alexander William Frederick Fraser, 19th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Mary Helena Grattan-Bellew.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Elizabeth Ida Spencer-Stanhope, daughter of John Montague Spencer-Stanhope and Ida Mary Milborne-Swinnerton-Pilkington, on 11 June 1920.1 He and Margaret Elizabeth Ida Spencer-Stanhope were divorced in 1934.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Elizabeth Barnes, daughter of Reginald Barnes, on 2 October 1934.1 He died on 13 June 1970 at age 83.1
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1920.1 He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

     Margaret Elizabeth Ida Spencer-Stanhope was the daughter of John Montague Spencer-Stanhope and Ida Mary Milborne-Swinnerton-Pilkington.1 She married Rear-Admiral Hon. George Fraser, son of Alexander William Frederick Fraser, 19th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Mary Helena Grattan-Bellew, on 11 June 1920.1 She and Rear-Admiral Hon. George Fraser were divorced in 1934.1 She died on 31 January 1964.1
     From 11 June 1920, her married name became Fraser. In 1945 her name was legally changed to Margaret Elizabeth Ida Fraser-Spencer-Stanhope by Royal Licence.1

George Fraser and Margaret Elizabeth Ida Spencer-Stanhope.2 He married, firstly, Jean Madeline Frances Gulland, daughter of Professor John Masson Gulland, on 21 June 1950.1 He married, secondly, Yvonne Valère-Newby, daughter of Edwin Valère-Newby, in 1962.1 He and Jean Madeline Frances Gulland were divorced in 1962.1 He and Yvonne Valère-Newby were divorced in 1971.1 He married, thirdly, Cheryl Mary Eleanor Williams, daughter of David Lloyd McNeil Williams, in 1971.1 He and Cheryl Mary Eleanor Williams were divorced in 1976.1 He married, fourthly, Meryl Ingham, daughter of John Ingham of Halifax, in 1976.1 He and Meryl Ingham were divorced in 1983.1 He married, fifthly, Marjorie Donaldson, daughter of Sydney Donaldson, in 1987.1 He married, sixthly, Avice Moira Alexander Cunningham, daughter of James Finlayson Cunningham, in 1995.1 He died on 10 August 2004 at age 79.1
