     From 10 July 1888, her married name became Mainwaring.

     Hugh Marston Close was born in 1877 at Great Arnwell, Hertfordshire, England.¹ He was the son of Major Frederick Close and Lydia Ann Stevens.¹

     Horatio Mainwaring was born in 1848 at Whitmore, Staffordshire, England.² He was the son of Captain Rowland Mainwaring and Laura Chevillard.^3,2 He married Gertrude Mary Jervis, daughter of Edward John Parker-Jervis and Grace Catherine Jervis, on 10 July 1888.¹ He died on 20 July 1913.

     Amy Jervis was born on 12 February 1867.¹ She was the daughter of Edward John Parker-Jervis and Grace Catherine Jervis.² She married Major George Alexander Chapman on 28 April 1892.¹ She died on 15 February 1906 at age 39.¹
     From 28 April 1892, her married name became Chapman.

     Major George Alexander Chapman married Amy Jervis, daughter of Edward John Parker-Jervis and Grace Catherine Jervis, on 28 April 1892.¹
     He lived at Tremlett Hill, Wellington, Somerset, England.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 98th Regiment.¹
