     Frances Beatrice Clara St. John was the daughter of Colonel Oliver Henry Beauchamp St. John and Bertha Frederica Scriven.² She married Thomas Agnew Ansdell in 1921.¹ She died on 29 May 1957.¹

     Robert Newell St. John was born on 29 December 1850.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Robert St. John and Jesse Arabella Whitehill.² He married Gertrude Brooke, daughter of J. H. Brooke, on 14 April 1886.¹ He died on 9 October 1897 at age 46.¹

     Gertrude Brooke was the daughter of J. H. Brooke.² She married, firstly, W. H. Smith before 1886.¹ She married, secondly, Robert Newell St. John, son of Lt.-Gen. Robert St. John and Jesse Arabella Whitehill, on 14 April 1886.¹ She died on 6 November 1930.¹
     From before 1886, her married name became Smith.¹ From 14 April 1886, her married name became St. John.

     Robert St. Andrew St. John was born in 1887.¹ He was the son of Robert Newell St. John and Gertrude Brooke.² He married, firstly, Joan Hartland on 17 July 1918.¹ He and Joan Hartland were divorced in 1921.¹ He married, secondly, Hannah Sophia Marcia Handyside, daughter of Reverend Arthur Ronald Handyside, on 11 February 1929.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1916 in the Chinese Labour Corps.¹ He was a merchant.¹

     Joan Hartland married Robert St. Andrew St. John, son of Robert Newell St. John and Gertrude Brooke, on 17 July 1918.¹ She and Robert St. Andrew St. John were divorced in 1921.¹
     From 17 July 1918, her married name became St. John.
