     Anne Shelton was the daughter of Joseph Shelton.¹ She married, firstly, Thomas St. John, son of Thomas St. John and Frances Lavie, on 6 July 1822.¹ She married, secondly, John Beresford Turner on 22 January 1849.¹ She died on 28 July 1883, without issue.¹
     From 6 July 1822, her married name became St. John. From 22 January 1849, her married name became Turner.¹

     Oliver St. John was born on 6 August 1803.¹ He was the son of Thomas St. John and Frances Lavie.² He married Helen Young, daughter of John Young, on 5 November 1835.¹ He died on 15 November 1844 at age 41.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Honourable EastIndia Company’s Madras Army.¹

     John Young lived at Westridge, Isle of Wight, England.²

     Helen Young was the daughter of John Young.² She married, firstly, Henry Anson Nutt in 1833 at St. Helens, Isle of Wight, England.³ She married, secondly, Oliver St. John, son of Thomas St. John and Frances Lavie, on 5 November 1835.¹ She died on 14 December 1881.¹
     From 1833, her married name became Nutt.³ From 5 November 1835, her married name became St. John.

     Sir Oliver Beauchamp Coventry St. John was born on 21 March 1837.¹ He was the son of Oliver St. John and Helen Young.² He married Janette Ormond, daughter of James Ormond, on 23 September 1869.¹ He died on 4 June 1891 at age 54.¹
     He was educated at Norwich Grammar School, Norwich, Norfolk, England.¹ He was educated at Addiscombe Military Academy, Addiscombe, Surrey, England.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1856 in the Bengal Engineers.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1858.¹ He was Director of Field Telegraph and Army Signalling Department between 1867 and 1868.¹ He fought in the Abyssinian War between 1867 and 1868.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1869.¹ He was Boundary Commissioner of Baluchistan in 1871.¹ He was Principal in 1875 at Mayo College, Ajmir, India.¹ He gained the rank of Major in 1876.¹ He fought in the Afghan War between 1878 and 1881, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.) in 1879.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1880.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)¹ He was Reisdent of South Afghanistan in 1881.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Star of India (K.C.S.I.) in 1882.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Zoological Society (F.R.Z.S.)¹

     James Ormond lived at Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England, Abingdon.¹

     Janette Ormond was the daughter of James Ormond.² She married Sir Oliver Beauchamp Coventry St. John, son of Oliver St. John and Helen Young, on 23 September 1869.¹ She died on 16 June 1921.¹
     From 23 September 1869, her married name became St. John.

     Sir Henry Beauchamp St. John was born on 26 August 1874.¹ He was the son of Sir Oliver Beauchamp Coventry St. John and Janette Ormond.² He married Olive Amy Herbert, daughter of Colonel Charles Herbert, on 6 February 1907.¹ He died on 5 October 1954 at age 80.¹
     He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1920.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Army (IPS.)¹ He was Agent to the Governor-General of the Punjab States between 1925 and 1927.¹ He was Agent and Chief Commissioner for Baluchistan between 1927 and 1930.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (K.C.I.E.) in 1930.¹

     Colonel Charles Herbert was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.)¹

     Olive Amy Herbert was the daughter of Colonel Charles Herbert.² She married Sir Henry Beauchamp St. John, son of Sir Oliver Beauchamp Coventry St. John and Janette Ormond, on 6 February 1907.¹ She died on 5 November 1963.¹
     From 6 February 1907, her married name became St. John.
