Alastair Gordon Rumbold was born on 28 October 1914.¹ He was the son of William Edwin Rumbold and Elizabeth Gordon Cameron.² He married, firstly, Tania Borzakovsky, daughter of Michael Borzakovsky, on 30 July 1941.¹ He and Tania Borzakovsky were divorced in 1952.¹ He married, secondly, Auriol Cressida Bucknall, daughter of Colonel William Rixon Bucknall and Cressida Mona Browning, on 12 September 1958.¹ He died on 13 December 1992 at age 78 at Yeovil, Somerset, England.^1,3
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1936.¹ He gained the rank of Palestine Campaign between 1936 and 1939.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Cameron Highlanders.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1953.¹

     Tania Borzakovsky is the daughter of Michael Borzakovsky.² She married Lt.-Col. Alastair Gordon Rumbold, son of William Edwin Rumbold and Elizabeth Gordon Cameron, on 30 July 1941.¹ She and Lt.-Col. Alastair Gordon Rumbold were divorced in 1952.¹
     From 30 July 1941, her married name became Rumbold.

     Michael Alastair Rumbold was born on 6 July 1943.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. Alastair Gordon Rumbold and Tania Borzakovsky.² He married Katharine Mary Cagney, daughter of Donal John Cagney, in 1976.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Haute Ecole de Commerce, Paris, France.¹

     Donal John Cagney lived at Broadstairs, Kent, England.¹

     Katharine Mary Cagney is the daughter of Donal John Cagney.² She married Michael Alastair Rumbold, son of Lt.-Col. Alastair Gordon Rumbold and Tania Borzakovsky, in 1976.¹
     From 1976, her married name became Rumbold.

     Angus Michael Rumbold was born in 1982.¹ He is the son of Michael Alastair Rumbold and Katharine Mary Cagney.²

     Victoria Catherine Rumbold was born on 31 December 1977.¹ She is the daughter of Michael Alastair Rumbold and Katharine Mary Cagney.²

     Colonel William Rixon Bucknall was born on 11 March 1894 at Lisbon, Portugal.² He was the son of William St. Vincent Bucknall and Louisa Caroline Drummond-Hay.² He married, secondly, Christine Margaret Benn.² He married, firstly, Cressida Mona Browning in 1925 at St. Martin’s-in-the-Fields, London, England.² He and Cressida Mona Browning were divorced before 1948.² He died on 29 April 1981 at age 87.²
